How many people live in your place, and how many kWh is your electric bill?

We have a 4 bedroom apt., with 3 people, and use an average of 900 kWh (so total about $200 just for electric)

Is this a bit much, what's your situation?

Does anyone suggest using those additional parties like AccentEnergy to provide my electric for better rates?

Sounds about right if you have A/C in most or all rooms. It'll go down in the winter.

There is only one small bedroom AC in one bedroom that ran 10 hours or so a day. The rest of us survived the heat for the last two months.

What are your other electronics? Are the computers and tvs on a lot? The one bedroom I had cost me about $100 - $150 with one A/C running at a time through the summer months last year, and the rates have gone up since then. (had two, but never ran both at the same time). I was home all day as well, so $200 doesn't sound bad to me. I know live in my parents rental, and 9 rooms, 5 A/Cs, 2-3 running at any given time, was over $400 for August.
