25 single male. half italian and puerto rican. favor the spanish side. where can I go to meet a "classy" latina. Not trying to offend but I want to meet somebody with values, morals, a job, etc. Bars, Lounges, etc. In the Bronx, Manhattan or maybe even Queens. Mind u I go out by my self. I moved away for a long time and came back. I dont know anybody anymore. ya....it sucks. I know "ur not going to meet her at the bar," but Im sick and tired of staring at my walls on my weekends. Even places during the day I can go to if u know any.

Visited Sports Plus Cafe on Castle Hill Ave, Johhny O's on Westchester Ave and 718 Lounge on E. Tremont, but that one seemed to be an older crowd for married couples.
Heard of Mamosa Lounge and Side Street?
Was told to not even bother with X-Bar or Jet Set Cafe?
Hey... we are of similar background..I go out mostly where I live in Brooklyn Heights/Cobble Hill/Boerum Hill and in the East Village area. Though Latins are well-represented near where I live (but most of them, like me, are transplants from Miami, South America, or Spain it seems) this isn't really where you would come to specifically meet Latin girls. The East Village, however, is. There are always Latin girls (mix of international and from NYC) at this place called Yuca Bar on East 7th and Avenue A where I go occasionally. Also, I have run into groups of Spanish-speaking girls in several other bars on Second Avenue, First Avenue, and Avenue A. Oh, there are ALWAYS Latin girls at 230 Fifth Avenue's rooftop bar (corner of 28th Street I believe) when I have gone. However, I wouldn't say that it's a good place to go to specifically meet Latin girls; it's more a place girls go to be bought expensive drinks by guys who have money (or at least act like they do).
I don't know if you prefer a NY-raised Latin girl to an international one, but I must say that international Latin girls are DEFINITELY well-represented in most Manhattan (below 96th Street and especially downtown) bars and clubs. Hopefully someone else can help you out with some places closer to you in the Bronx. With that said my friend lives near Jackson Heights, Queens and through visiting him and walking around the neighborhood it seems like there are lots of middle class South American girls there... maybe they go out around there?

I met my current girlfriend through a friend. Classy Latina all the way. That's one suggestion, hit up your friends or co-workers.
Try to set up a group thing where a few of you and some female friends (hopefully your friends have single female friends or aquaintances) go out. You go out to a lounge or a bar. This is good because you come with something already, if worst comes to worst and it doesn't work out, the women break out early and you can still try.
Not a club. Clubs suck, too loud, too dark.

I guess a bar or club is not the quintessential place to meet people but sometimes one has to adapt to one's environment and NYC can sometimes be a lonely place for both men and women.
Better a bar than a strip joint or a porno club or staring at four walls. Have a drink or two IF YOU'RE NOT DRIVING, relax, maybe you'll meet someone and follow up, or at the end of the evening, you've gone out, felt nice, chatted to a lovely bartender, blown a few bucks, and you return home for a restful night.
