Red face Pelham Parkway Vs Easterchester gardens

I thinking about moving either Pelham Parkway Houses or Easterchester gardens. I currently live in projects in another area of the bronx, but i come accross pelham every day and it looks like a good neighborhood.

And easterchester looks like a very nice area also. Do anyone have any pictures or thoughts of that projects? Which one would be safer and better neighborhood withs lots of stores.

pelham parkway is better in terms of crime. its probably the safest projects in the bronx, or at least one of the safest. that doesnt mean that crime isnt an issue there however.

I'd choose Pelham Parkway over Eastchester Gardens for the easier access to amenities. Pelham Parkway has the 2 train right there whereas Eastchester residents have to take the Bx28 bus to the 5 train. Plus, Pelham Parkway is near the stores, schools, and Bronx Park.
