I Can't Stand Caroline Kennedy (New York, Boston: appointed, limousine, live in)

Never liked her, not totally sure why, and this latest thing--wanting to be our Senator even though she has never been elected dog catcher--doesn't help. She just seems like the ultimate limousine liberal to me.

I don't know what she does or doesn't stand for. It's obviously the Kennedy name getting her at the top of the heap.

I'd at least like a chance to know her positions and how she stands.

Yep, and I don't see how that's fully possible when she wants to be appointed, not elected. At least in an election a person has to run a campaign and express their opinions on issues and be subject to debates and be subject to press coverage.

I am a DIE HARD liberal, but I think this idea of appointing Caroline K. is totally outrageous. Does she even live in the state? Don't you have to be a resident?? Has she been elected to ANYTHING? The nerve of her and that family thinking they have a RIGHT to be SENATOR of all things. Start out with being STATE Senator first!

Well, someone named Hillary never held any elected office, or any office, was not from here but from some decidedly different state 2000 miles away, and everyone seemed quite okay with her election to New York's Senate seat, usually citing the fact the Caroline Kennedy's uncle Bobby did the same thing in 1965, albeit hailing from a somewhat more similar demographic in Boston.

I wasn't ok with it, she was an opportunistic carpetbagger. She actually claimed she was a secret lifelong Yankee fan! That woman wouldn't know the truth it came up and slapped her in the face.

BUT, at least she campaigned for the position. She worked very hard to get elected. Caroline wants to be appointed!!
