Default question about midtown apartment pricing?

Is it possible to split a two bedroom two bath apartment in midtown and pay $2000 (or less)?

Or is a two bed/two bath considerably more expensive. I'd like to have my own bathroom but a 1BR is probably out of my price range. Thanks!!

Yes - I have seen REAL two bedroom/two bathroom apartments in Midtown (both east and west) for under $4000. Most of the real two bedrooms for under $4000 have only one bathroom, but I have seen some with two bathrooms. I would suggest that you employ the services of a broker to assist you with your search.

I am assuming the OP means $2k each, since they did not exactly specify if the rent was $2k or less or that's each. Each, you can find something, in a 2BR in Midtown as others have pointed out. If $2k is the total, you really need to look in another location. As Miles quoted, I would expect a 2/2 to be in the $5k range (give or take), and then a Classic 6 (the holy grail of 2BRs) would range upward from there, if you could find one for rent.

I'm another one who thinks you're not going to be able to find a 2BR/2Bath for $4K/month.
