Default With all the job losses from Wall St will NYC look like it did in 1975?

As far as the crime, the urban decay. Will it ever get like that again in Manhattan?

It is possible!
Look at how many people have been getting shot since last Friday!
Bloomberg said the crime rate is down...Yeah, it is down around the City Hall area!
With so many people lost their jobs, these jobs will not be gained back for a very long time.
Hopefully, I am wrong about that...

People keep posing this scenario. I don't think so.

It'd be nice to pay 1975 rents though.

I really doubt it. The NYC mindset has changed.

Everybody is always predicting the imminent collapse of New York City. Sorry to disappoint them, but if you'll pardon a slight lapse in grammar, it ain't happenin'!
