Randalls Island show...Hendrix, Mountain...Grand Funk? No Miles Davis or Clapton though.

Small world indeed. One of my best friends is Kenny's brother in-law.
Yes Joan did well for herself (and Kenny) She is an icon. Its cool for famous women to wear a Joan Jett shirt.

Kenny also produced the excellent "Little Runaway" as me and Kenny's bro in law were POWERPOP pioneers to say the least. We played at Max's/Cbgb and a retro label put out the album of our songs ten years ago had fans of our sound.

haha damn...Freedomland (AKA Freedomscam) the precursor to Co-op City. The developer was gong to have to do a 25 year pile study (on that marsh) before they would get a green light to build. Freedomland's 3-4 story buildings and 5 years of operation (basically a 5 year pile study) was enough to get the variance from the city to build. Sorry I know this was a bit off topic but I couldn't help it.
