He went in early this morning and poured cleaning fluid everywhere on the 35th floor. His reasons are not known yet. Most likely he lost a significant amount of money trading in these shaky markets and/or did something worthy of losing his job. Times are bad but these Wall Street wimps need to toughen up and roll with the punches like a man. Torching a building that was previously knocked down by 9/11 is a sick move.

Commodities trader arrested after dousing floor in 7 World Trade Center with gasoline (http://www.nydailynews.com/news/ny_crime/2009/01/24/2009-01-24_commodities_trader_arrested_after_dousin.html - broken link)

He could be a hipster, right age and look, and previously from Chicago with a hometown in the Midwest. That's a lesson that they should teach in school -- do not get drunk and use company identification or keys for anything, especially nothing as bad as what is alleged in this case.

lol, now they know how black people and other minorites have felt for generations here in America. I bet he feels like jumping out of the 40th floor window and slitting his throat on the way down too.

I'm sorry he lost 1 of his 8 Yachts and 2 of his 12 houses. Man up.

What he did was bordering on the unbelievable. What's going to follow will be hilarious. Just wait and see how he engages some high profile (read: ambulance-chasing) lawyer, who comes up with some sort of rationalization for what he did. More than likely, a new "syndrome" will enter the lexicon. I vote for it being called Financial Crisis Syndrome--which, of course, gives a free pass for rich people who take a major hit to their bank accounts to do practically anything they want as a response, and not have to serve any time.

And within a month, you'll hear pretentious news commentators referring to "FCS" as though it's been around for decades!
