Finally to NYC:) (New York, Rochester, York: transfer, live, moving to)

Hello all.

I am a 23 year old man long from the north:Finland.
All my life i have dreamed, that some day i can move to the U.S and especially to New York.
My dream finally came true last night.Im getting transferred there because of my job.

I am so happy i dont know what to say

I dont know much about the local maners, or anything so else, but finally i have the chance to come there.

I will also apply for us citizenship after some period of time, because im sure, that i will make it there.

Well,thats that, dunno if anyone even cares about this, but i just wanted to share my happiness with you

The first thing you got to do is learn how to get to "anywhere" ....So get yourself a subway map and a metrocard.....Get a "metrocard fun pass..$7.00" and start visiting places... with a fun day card you can take the train or the bus, as many time as you like in one day....Individual fares are $2.00.
Bring your camera.......It's ok to get lost, even us newyorkers get lost
Have fun, and enjoy the city...

What i whould like to hear,is the places where i should go first when i arrive there, so that i can get to know the "heart of the city".

I cant quite tell why i have this passion for N.Y even though i`ve never even been there,all i`ve heard are rumors and of course what the internet+tv can tell me about this great state.

I`m looking forward very much to come to your country, and find out myself,is it really so beautiful as i think, i hope so

I'm moving far way from NYC....
I love the city, I love NY, but I'm moving to the south part of the country........and I'm very happy about it........This is it for me in NYC....19 years is enough...ha ha ha Got to try something a little bit SLOWER HA HA HA
