I live in Manhattan and I'm new to New York City. I'm an African-American woman (with kinda straight hair naturally) and I want to find a place to get my hair cut. Something trendy...as long as they can cut hair. I currently go to a Dominican salon in Washington Heights, but they mostly specialize in straightening hair. Does anyone know of a place uptown or anywhere in Manhattan that is good for a hair cut?
