The thread was started over 2 years ago. You had plenty of time to read it. There was an issue over which neighborhoods actually had a decaying stock of buildings and which buildings did not. Which is why SobroGuy clarified the meaning of urban decay to bring the topic back on point, and I merely agreed with his definition. We all know what crime is. With that being said, carry on....

I would like the area bordering Brownsville/ENY, no? Crime has even been on an uptick in Bed-Stuy over the last year, but the Brownsville area has not improved one bit since this original thread started a decade ago.

I am surprised nobody mentioned Far Rockaway yet. Decaying infrastructure exposed to brutal elements by the Atlantic ocean - salt water and strong winds. Geographically and culturally isolated from the rest of the city by a long commute. Project clustered in 1 area. Very insular and townie like mentality by the residents.
