Recommendation for cataract surgeon in Staten Island (insurance, rating)

Does any one have a good cataract surgeon recommendation in Staten Island / lower Brooklyn and if they accept HIP insurance.

My mother had a Lasik done by Michael Nejat. I don’t know if he specializes in cataracts, but I can tell you that he is a very good eye surgeon.

On that site you can also check the number of surgeries a doctor has done, if that may be helpful.
Other than that my suggestion would be to call a local hospital to see who they can recommend. Most hospitals have physician referral service. I would check them out however on one of the rating sites, for what patients say about them, malpractice, etc. Also more is not always better when it comes to surgeries. If they do thousands of surgeries you may be walking into a mill.
