I really recommend that you guys see this map on the NYTimes. They ask people in different neighborhoods to rate where they live! What do you think?

I looked at Education--public school safety. I teach in the High bridge area of the Bronx, which most people seem to feel it's low on safety. Not surprised. What's interesting is that the lighter colors (meaning school safety is high) tend to be the districts with higher test scores.

It seems like the Dominicans areas in Manhattan and in the Bronx seem more satisfy with the city than the Blacks and the Puerto Rican areas. Why is that?
