The only one I'll read in print is the Daily News. If I'm working in Newark I'll grab a free copy of AM New York just 'cuz it's there. I browse the Times online almost daily, and their special features are unmatched.

I wish NYC still had 11 newspapers--some large and some smaller format. Then I really felt we had choices. Now I only read the paper online!

NYC still has a ton of papers. The Village Voice, Brooklyn Eagle, The S.I. Advance, etc. It is just the NY Post, Daily News, NYT, and the WSJ are the major papers.

you read it here first
"New York Post, worst piece of paper on the east coast!"
Public Enemy
NY Post is fabricated garbage, with lousy writers that make it up as they go along and splash intellectually devoid celebs on the front page with the sole intention of turning a quick buck.
I can't even line my snake's cage with it because of the paper's dimensions.

NY POST!! The Times has been shown to publish out and out lies and distortions. Their readership has dropped dramaticly in the last few years. Left wing rag.

I like the NYTimes for 'news' (although the internet is much better). If I'm not in the mood to juggle with the tabloid size paper, then I'll go for the Post for the gossip and crazy headlines.
I get almost all the daily's for free at work since we are always monitoring the newspapers. Sometimes, I take what hasn't been taken by another collegue. (Like the NY Sun for instance.)

The NY Post is a right-wing rag. The main purpose of the paper seems to be race-baiting. I find the overwhelming whiteness of the NYTimes disheartening, but it is a lesser evil.

I read the NYtimes
because its a real paper but shh don't tell anyone but I als ohave a sleazy addiction to the NYpost. The post is that guilty pleasure you don't want folks to know about.I equate it to junk food. When you go out to eat you want to go to fine dining resuraunts or ecletic dining. Fried foods are a no no When I go out to eat I like to go to places like Le Bernidin (sp) Aqua Grill, Union Square Cafe Blue Water Grill, Gotham Bar & Grill or Thai food or food from Indian way. I love Indian way! I could go on but you get the point. However my guilty pleasure foods are fried foods Rosco's Chicken n Waffles or In & Out when I'm in L.A, Jerk chicken from Brooklyn, Soul food from Harlem or that place on 39 st. or good spanish food from ENY.I sometimes want this stuff *more* than I want the other stuff.
