Wink Where to buy affordable sldr photo cameras in nyc?
i'd like to jump from the compact to the sldr photo cameras and i'm looking for the best place in nyc to buy it at a very good price. Could anyone recommend me some place? I'll be in the city from 7 to 14 April.

B&H Photo Video on 9th at 34th has great prices and service. You absolutely MUST, however, go on April 7th because they close for Passover. This year it's April 8th to the 16th.

Adorama on 18th Street between 5th & 6th (closer to 6th) also has a good selection.

Very nice, i use a d300 and my wife a d80.... she uses a nikon 18-200vr and i use a nikon 17-55mm and a 80-200 f/2.8 as my main lenses. we have a host of other lenses too, we looooooooooooove photography
