KRS, that is part of life here. i live on sumpter st right off rockaway ave in bushwick and i hear gunshots almost 24/7. i'm sure everyone in this area (eny/brownsville/bushwick) will agree with me when i say that 4 murders is bull (maybe 4 a week but most definitely not 4 a year.)

Did you do research before moving there ? ENY is not really a desirable area to be in.
It also depends on where you live in ENY too, some areas are dead and some are constant hot spots. My aunt used to live closer to Flatlands, by the Jefferson field. That part was pretty quiet to me.

I Had no other immediate options and I didnt know it was money drugs guns all day. |

Yeah well I think you should leave if you dont feel safe.
God knows where stray bullets will be flying.
Last month(?) an 11 yr old girl was shot by a stray bullet, and she was in her home watching cartoons !!
If you're looking for a cheap area, with less violence try some parts of flatbush. I would pick flatbush over ENY anyday |

I feel fine its just i dont want to raise my kids in a place like this which is just like the place I grew up and turn out like me which isnt too good. |
