Not every gunshot results in a murder.

Did you not know this was a bad neighborhood before moving there? Or did you get caught up in the gentrification hype that developers are pitching? It's one of the worst sections of NY.

Doesn't surprise me. The times I've been there I felt very unsafe. Why do you live there OP? If you don't mind me asking. It also seems like you live on a hot block/section . If it's for the cheaper rent, there are other places.

Well I used to live in Harlem in a good revitalized building but I lost my 57,000 a year job and have crap basically now ill probably be outta here in 3 months but this place blows its dirty dangerous the plumbing is dreadful and theres always kids pissing on the walls when I go downstairs I mean ive seen worse but never lived in a place this bad not even in 1990 Harlem was my apartment so bad and Harlem was rich in culture ENY is rich in Bloods, Crack, Meth, Urban Decay, And bad smell. Anybody got a place in the city thats cheap i know every neighborhood in the nyc is better than this but maybe not as cheap.
