Maybe i spoke to soon. Someone was shot in the head today on my block. This should be on the News all the vans are there. So i think it will be reported.
Parts of Westbury are ghetto, but Hempstead is the worst. I been to most of the bad areas in the city, but never feel as uneasy as in hempstead at night. Even my friend whos father owns sneaker stores all over, including on in bed -stuy, said he would rather work there than in hempstead. |

Gang presence often goes unnoticed unless you're actually in the gang. I've lived in Jackson Heights all my life, and I know there's gang activity on Northern Blvd. and Roosevelt Ave., but not once have I encountered anything unsavory.

I think it was by Noble ave.
And the area continues to be hot because today there was a shooting on E 174th and Noble. So it may be retaliation, probably do to drugs. |

something happened around westchester and wheeler today, my neighbor told me someone got shot, but on gothamist it says large crowd
