I think there are plenty of people from every borough. The New York City forum is pretty well attended.

JC is decidedly NJ..and in no way part of NYC. You are confusing a small pocket of transplants seeking a short commute to Wall St to an established community of NYC residents and all the history involved with it. Sorry..Jersey City, and Hoboken, and much of the "Gold Coast" of NJ is nothing more than small pockets of yuppies and DINKS (dual income no kids) that are only interested in living 2 stops from work, and once they get better careers/have kids, quickly move away to suburbs.

Why do you say that that Jersey City is the 6th borough?

As SobroGuy hinted, they're New York wannabes. Or usetabes. They can't or won't live here, but they want everyone to identify them as New Yorkers.
