Mead, I'm glad to hear that New Yorkers dont ostracize people from the south but to say that the opposite is true is downright ludicrous. Most people that I know have no problem with northerners and Texas (especially Dallas and Houston) are part of the South. All that said, Im finishing school soon and will be either going to New York or DC. Most likely New York-cant wait!

Not true. On all three of my visits to the city, no one knew I was from the south until I told them.
