Default Need Advice.Need to commute between Holtsville and Bronx

Hi,

I'm new to NY area and I recently got a job in Holtsville NY and will also have to commute 2 days a week to Bronx. I was searching for few areas between these two places and was not able to find any since I'm not so familar with the area.

I'm looking for:
1.Good Apartments/Safe neighbourhood/preferably not skyscrapers.
2.More close to Bronx and less than an hour to Holtsville.

Could some one please help me out shortlist a few good apartments located between Holtsville and Bronx.

Thanks for the help!!

Default Some ideas

You didn't mention what part of the Bronx you are in. Anyway some areas you may want to consider are Fresh Meadows, Bayside, and Kew Gardens which are all in Queens. They are very nice areas and should fit your criteria.

Good luck.
