If anyone or community group is interested in receiving a free tree, please come by Wave Hill, a public garden located in Riverdale in the Bronx, to pick up one (or 2!). You will receive a 1" or 1.5" Caliper tree to plant FREE. The address is 675 West 252nd street, in the parking lot. Are you going to get one to plant in your backyard? How is the grass doing back there, by the way?

I am getting two..and my grass is not well at all..i pretty much killed it..but it seems to be growing back...VERY slowly.

What kind of grass is it? There are a lot of products out there that fertilize and really help the grass come back green during the warmer months.

I have no idea what kind..i bought sod and then the first time I cut it it died. And now it seems to be growing back, but there are lots of dead patches...so I threw down some seeds to fill it on..so we'll see. it ain't pretty!
