I have been reviewing most of the comments and its great to see so much excellent advice, therefore in true equal spirit I was hoping to get a similar response!!!
I will be returning the appreciation, so any queries you may have regarding London or Greece, I am your guy!
I will be moving to NY to study in September, my campus is located on 11 W. 42nd Street (Between 5th and 6th Avenue), however my girlfriend works in Brewster NY, which is a trek but she will be driving and does not mind as she would like to live in the city. I guess she would be happy to be close to the road for westchester.
We have a budget 1200 pcm and we where thinking of the Bronx. So please rack your brains and recommend some areas within or other locations which may meet your spec. Transport is important, but I will be using a scooter!
