Default Central Park Zoo vs. Bronx Zoo

Does the central park zoo have anything special that the bronx zoo doesn't offer?

What zoo do you prefer? Why?

bronx zoo most visited in the city. The biggest metropolitan zoo in the united states. The bronx zoo is more comparable to the san diego zoo. Its leaps and bounds better than the central park zoo, or any other zoo in the city

So, if a person goes to the Bronx Zoo and skips out on the Central Park Zoo........

Is there anything in the Central Park Zoo that a is a must see? Or something a person would regret not seeing?

Central Park and Prospect Park are more of a petting zoo. For a real zoo experience you have to visit the Bronx zoo. It's the only zoo in NYC that have animals and you'll leave there amazed. The others have only tame things like, goats, monkeys and seals.

For some depending on your age of children and weather, it may be better to do this as a 2 day event. Buy a family membership to enjoy all year long, its worth the dollars.

Not really the Bronx Zoo has it all. There is also a zoo in Queens called Queens Zoo. However it is not popular as the Bronx Zoo.

All boroughs have their own zoos. Brooklyn's is called the Prospect Park Zoo and Staten Island's is the Staten Island Zoo. Additionally, Brooklyn also has an aquarium near Coney Island.

I did not know that EVERY borough had their own zoo.

So, is the Bronx Zoo definately far superior than the other 4?

They don't have tigers in the CP zoo and I love tigers. I voted for the Bronx.

yes because there are more things to see. That is why, Bronx Zoo is the largest metro zoo in the whole US. Also if you go to the zoo and you want to go in for free go on a Wednesday=) you will love it.
