Default kipp infinity vs harlem village academy charter school

Kipp infinity vs harlem village academy charter schools, which of these schools would you choose. My son got accepted into both schools and we are having a hard time choosing.
I have checked with insideschools already.

My son and I decided that he should go to kipp because kipp is big, 64 schools in the nation. The high sch they are starting this fall will have 800 students in 4 yrs and will have more programs and extra curicullum activities.

You could research the organizations & see what thier track record is, which other partnerships that they are affialiated with, thier mission, the areas around the schools, transportation, the school enviornment, etc...

My husband was offered teaching positions (9th/10th grade Math) at both schools and ultimately decided to go with HVA.

From the perspective of a teacher:

There is a LOT of teacher turnover at KIPP Infinity and KIPP Star - which hints at lack of teacher support. Where teachers are not supported, the students are not supported. Both of those KIPPS have very young, inexperienced principals (not necessarily a bad thing - but they both seemed a little dissheveled during the interview process).

HVA is very nurturing. Smaller schools (in NY at least) are MUCH better than larger. Teachers even attend an "institute" before each school year to come together to create new ways to engage the students.

That being said, again, these were the thoughts from the perspective of a teacher.
