A little promo video from TWA about New York 1955. Things have changed so much in 54 years.

You can say THAT again...just 54 years since the Brooklyn Dodgers were World Series champions!

Great ,samyn!
Fun to watch. It reminded me of my first trip to NY which was also in the 1950's,maybe a few years later than this.I was a little kid and my mother took us on the train from Boston and we did all the same things as in the video.I felt like i was reliving my childhood trip.
I sent it to my sister
Thanks !

Default 1956

Here is another film about New York, this one is from 1956. Seems like this was New York and the USA at the peak.

What's changed?

They still fly those planes.

They are still serving that very cup of coffee- but they've kept in warm.

The Dodgers were the best then in 1955 and lead MLB now.

Ok they didn't have Craigslist in 1955 and the girls couldn't invite 4-5 studs for a "party"

Wha? TWA is dead, and more than likely that coffee shop is as well, and the dogers where where they belonged in Brooklyn.
