I live on the Upper East Side and would like to find a store in my neighborhood or any other part of Manhattan that sells gluten free baking staples like rice flour, tapioca flour, flaxseed flour, xanthan gum, etc.

Does anyone know of a health food store, grocery store or ethnic grocery store that carries these products? The regular grocery stores don't.

Thank you so much!

Wholefoods is the best place to go for that type of food. They have various locations all over the city.

There are lots of health food stores, especially in your neck of the woods. They'll have all that stuff!

Thanks, Viralmd. Yes, I agree with you, Whole Foods is darn expensive. I hope someone knows of a more reasonable market but until then I will go over to WF today.

Fairway on W 74th and Bway. The organic section upstairs has everything you are looking for. Gluten free baking staples are reasonably priced.
