Hmmmm still didn't get that call for the second phase of hiring yet. Was really expecting to hear something today to come in on Wednesday. Maybe get to the call on Wednesday to come in Friday hopefully. Seems like this person mrs shivers just give out general information about list numbers and not information regarding individuals which would be of greater help as people in list number 14?? Are still waiting to be recalled I'm in 15?? Also still waiting to be recalled. That would be close to 100 +/- people eligible for a end of October class that is only accepting 40 students.

I might see if I pass the medical if they know for sure if they will have a Nov Class if they would do my investigation first which is a option then get into the Nov Class which would give me some time to transition meaning takin a vac

Justin I was wondering the same thing. I mean at this point it seems like maybe we should aim for the November class? Which would be fine for me because I have to give my present job 4 weeks notice and I would also like to take a little vacation before class starts. I would like to transition into this job easy as possible.

Nervouswreck I hear u I'm actually makn a move to nyc so I want a timeline to make it easier for me. But if they tell me in the interview IF I pass medical that they don't know about future classes I'm takn it I'm not waiting no more and goin through this process again.

I wouldn't worry about a 4week notice. The MTA won't hold that against you and what's your company goin to do fire you. I would however wait til the last second and tell them because they prob would do something to you if you still had 3wks or so left.

I have about 5 weeks of vacation that get from my present job so if I don't give them proper notice then technically I forfeit that time. I've been there 12 years it would suck to lose that time. If I give proper notice then they will cash me out on the time. So that will help me out financially u know. I'd rather transition into the new job u know.

Nervouswreck gotcha man..hey I would go down for medical if called and see if u get hired and then talk to the HR Rep of your situation and see if there's a Nov Class and see if they can accomadate you. You just dont want to *********rself if they cant guarentee you anything. I'm giving my employer only week if Friday goes good well
