Seafood - Where do you buy it 'n' why?
Hey my name is Jennifer. I am currently working in a Seafood dept. And I would like to make it better. To further presue this I need to know where and why people buy it. Any suggestions or information you can provide would be very helpful!

We buy our seafood in Chinatown because it is fresh and cheap.
I don't know how that will help you, but...

I think it depends were you live, here on LI, specifically the south shore is a town called Freeport on the water so a lot of fisherman bring it there for the quality and freshness...

Ditto on Chinatown. You can buy a live fish there - it's so fresh and cheap that it so worth the fighting my way through the crowd.

Chinatown has a large assortment of seafood, and it is fun to go there to buy food.
It feels like one of the old world markets
