My Name is Mahogany and I live in NJ and I want to Move to NY. I've been trying for several years now. Anyway, I have Section 8 and I heard NYC Housing authority has this new 22 development. The projects will accept section 8 because it is hard to find an apartment. I would prefer to stay in queens can someone let me know a decent Project to live in.

By best you mean safest? My guess would be the ones in Forest Hills/Rego Park, right off the LIE. I can't imagine them being too bad considering the surrounding neighborhood is very nice.

Pomonok houses in queens are kind of decent as well as South Beach, Todt hill, and there is one in the middle of Staten Island I cannot recall the name of. Also Pelham Parkway and Throggs Neck houses in the bronx are okay.
