Unhappy I need serious help catching public transportation!!

Alright. I'm renting a car next week, waited for someone who was going to 'assist' me with it, but apparently the person is taking too long, so i'm setting up my rental.

Due to the Labor Day weekend coming up, ALL rental places in my area are booked [except one place in Queens and the airport...I'm only going through Enterprise due to me being 21 and having Debit Cards, not any credit card].

My other option [much much cheaper] is to get the rental car in Fairview, New Jersey...and that's why im here lol.

Can someone PLEASE tell me how exactly I can get there? Whether it be through Port Authority, or whatever...I need to know, I don't have the slightest clue! I don't want to get a taxi [Dial 7, etc] because they are too pricey [i've spent ENOUGH money already lol] but please list every way you know that I can get there. Here's some location details.

I live in Manhattan, New York [10026 area]
I have to go to the following address...
222 BERGEN BLVD STE 5
FAIRVIEW, NJ 07022

So yes..please let me know how I can get there, and around how much it'll cost. Thanks!

A few places allow people between 21-24 to rent...with a fee. It's just that majority of these places require having a major credit card only. Enterprise is the only place that's working with me right now..and that's why they rule. Thanks ddhboy for the link! I think i'm going to use their Astoria location just to save me the trouble or finding a bus...just catch the N or W train.

I don't know if it would be less expensive than Astoria, but there's an Enterprise in Mount Kisco. It's about a mile from the train station on Bedford Road, which would not be a bad walk, or an under five minute cab ride. The cab company is located right at the train station in Mount Kisco, so it's easy to get a cab after taking MetroNorth from Grand Central. Peak fare (web ticket is the best rate) is $12 and change, and off Peak is under $10 to Mount Kisco.
