I work near Columbus circle. I saw Cecely Tyson, Anderson Cooper, Samuel. L. Jackson, Denzel Washington (filming "the Manchurian Candidate" @ John Jay College, Regis Philbin, Soledad O'Brien, Jerry Stiller "King of Queens", Gale King "Oprah's best friend". If you are frequently near Columbus Circle, you will see many celebs.

Forgot ... I also saw Snoop Dogg and an entourage all decked out going into the W Hotel on Lexington one morning on my way to work. That was wild. And, Tyson Beckford, the model, on 9th Street (he's gorgeous).

I've seen these people.

Second time in NYC:
-Kirsten Dunst
-Natalie Portman
-Leonardo DiCaprio
-Uma Therman or someone who really looked like her

Leonardo actually looked at me and scared me at first because I had a camera out in the subway and he looked at me and I thought he was gonna say something nasty to me but he didn't, but walked away I didn't even notice him.

Third time in NYC:

-Kirsten Dunst again!
-Jessica Stam (super model)
-Ellen Page
-Milo Ventimigia (sp? The guy from Heroes at Comic Con 2010)
-Tricia Helfer (from Battlestar Galatica at Comic Con 2010)

Fourth time in NYC:

-Karlie Kloss (super model)
-Tom Cruise

I really like Kirsten Dunst though, and probably saw many other super models but I wouldn't recognize them.

I saw Kirsten a few times coming out of Bliss Spa down on Prince street. She was filming Spiderman at the time. I also saw Willem DeFoe the same week, he was probably headed to Joe's pub where his old stomping grounds were.

You must be lucky you get to see Kirsten around. I like celebrity seeing but I hope one day to be able to meet her in person.

I saw Susan Sarandan by Columbus circle with her then hubby Tim Robbins...
At first she was ignoring us and hoping we would walk away but we were persistent and she finially acknowledged us standing there..
then my younger brother said hi and complemented her on her wrk and activism and she was suchaa cold b*****& to him which really disappointed all of us, and it's a shame cause You would think she would be so cool. Not!
Tim Robbins was smiling at us & sweet, glad he's not with her no more!

I figure most celebs just want to be left alone, so I don't stare or try to approach them when I see them even if I'm really tempted. While I agree Susan was a *****, it may have been her knee jerk reaction from being ogled at by fans for so many years that she just couldn't mind her manners anymore- even when meeting a fan who was gracious and polite like you and your brother. On the other hand I remember seeing some press clips of her at events where being on camera in the presence of reporters is the norm, and she seemed like a kuntt.

A friend of mine and I were hanging out in Lincoln Center and we saw Christopher Walken strolling by. While I like Mr. Walken I stayed back and left him alone. Sadly my friend, who wasn't very considerate, followed Mr. Walken with his jaw dragging on the floor whilst pointing and gawking "OMG!!! IT's CHRISTOPHER WALKEN!!! OMG!!! OMG!! ITS CHRISTOPHER WALKEN!!!! CHRIS!!! HEY CHRISS!!!! CHRIIIIiiiiiiiIIIIIIIiiiSSS!!! AAAAHHH!! HEY CHRISSSSS!". I thought my friend was really being rude, but I was too struck by embarrassment to do anything about it. Mr. Walken turned around and shot my friend a look that would melt stone- yeah, if you've seen his movies you KNOW that look! It sure as hell made my friend quit acting like a moron, so once my friend shut up Mr. Walken turned back around and continued on but at a much faster pace. I punched my friend in the arm and scolded him for acting like a friggin' tourist. I don't know if Mr. Walken was within earshot of the lashing I delivered upon my friend, but I sure hope so- it would have made him smile.

I once saw Chris Noth in the village while he was filming a scene for Sex and the City. I saw the guy who played Vito on the Sopranos at a Ranger game and have seen a lot of them when I was at Knick and Ranger games at MSG.

It's funny, the Knicks and Rangers would hand this list of celebs, probably for the photographers, so you always knew who was at a game.

When I was in Los Angeles, I went to a Laker game and saw Ice Cube being hounded by a bunch of little kids who liked his "Are We There" series of movies.
