Default Williamsburg Brooklyn is ideal! but willing to look other areas

I am looking to move to the BK by Oct1-15th I accepted a job offer as a Market Manager for the Brooklyn market and need to move asap!

I will not move more than 20mi away from the city so any ideas on BK areas that are safe and trendy (bars, restaurants etc.) would be helpful.

Looking for a share or roomie to apt hunt with as well.

(I am 27yr old female currently reside in Astoria)

Feel free to Moderator cut: DM me.

What/where is the Brooklyn Market? The challenge of working in the boroughs is that most of the subways are designed to get people into Manhattan.

Williamsburg/Greenpoint might be a good choice because it's on the G Train, which is not the best subway line, but at least it doesn't go through Manhattan.

You should figure out which trains go to your work and then see which neighborhoods are also serviced by those trains.
