Do you guys see the building getting better in the future? A new building is opening on 49 North Broadway. Look it up on the internet. The signs are all over my building. I'll pass on more
infomation when I get it! The receptionist in No.Ro. hear the same crap everyday that's frustrating!
Moving is easier said then done. Do one year lease next time. Maybe some changes
will acure. Keep positive.

Just for the record, the 49 North Broadway building is in Yonkers, not NYC.

And to think I almost left my wonderful apt in Queens to move here. I was never crazy about the area nor the BX in general, but what made me turn it down was the size of the so-called "Master bedroom". It looked more like a nursery room than a master bedroom. After hearing all the horror stories from residents about what's going on here, I'm happy I chose not to take it.

As I stated earlier, it is a huge new development, and all new construction, especially of this magnitude, has kinks to work out and it takes time. If you don't like the development, the wonderful thing about renting is you simply get to leave upon lease expiration and life goes on.

However, I am confident that for every unhappy resident, there are 10 very very happy residents, who like the new development, new apt, amenities, proximity to Manhattan, all for an absurdly affordable rent. If you can find a better deal, I encourage you to go get it..I suspect however they are few and far between.
