There are some tenants that have moved in already, building 508, as it seems construction on that building is complete. The others should be done by years end...
thx for the heads up! I'll verify w them when i have my interview but i just wanted an idea since i really want to move into this development but cant move out of my current apartment for another few months.
I have an interview scheduled for this week. But, do anyone knows when the apartment will be ready to move in? And how's the neighborhood?
I had my interview on the 14th and they told me the approximate move in date was August 1st. I ahvent heard anything from them since my interview so I'm not sure if I should give up hope or just keep waiting...
Hi cindymarrero,
Don't give up hope yet!! It's way too soon. I had my interview on the 19th, and from what I've heard it takes about 2 weeks for the paperwork to come back from the city for approval once submitted. I asked the receptionist how long after the interview can you maybe expect a response and she said a month or so but not to quote her. One of my friends just got approved for an apartment in Boricua Village which is also managed by Knickerbocker and the process sounded pretty much the same. She said she had some back and forth with paperwork but once everything was in she got an acceptance about 3 weeks later. Keep hope alive and keep me posted!

Btw, tenants have moved in to 508 that is the building my friend is moving into but that building is part of Boricua Village not the Northrose. The Northrose buildings are not complete as of yet and are still under construction.

SWEET!! Thx for the update Cinn!! We might be neighbors soon if all goes well! That really put me at ease... did they tell you when the approximate move in date was? Because if they take a month to call you, and they want us in by August 1st, that seems a little tight.. but completely do-able...

No prob cindy I really want this apartment as well!! And I know all about the anxiety. They did not tell me an approximate move in date but those buildings look like they still need a lot of work. A move in date of August 1 seems like a stretch to me. I think the earlier post of Nov-Dec sounds a bit more realistic. However, when I was there for my interview the woman who notorized my papers asked me if I was ready because they're trying to do this quick!

Well from my understanding, only one building is complete and ready to go, they just need approval, and the other 2 will be ready by Nov- Dec. That's why there is a second phase of the lottery going on now, to occupy the other two. Good luck and keep me posted as well!

Hi Cindy,
Just checking in to see if you've heard anything thus far. So far nothing on my end but as they say no news is good news. Lol. I checked with my HR department and they haven't done income verification yet, so the waiting game continues...
