You can get discount codes through:

BroadwayBox.com
Theatermania.com
Playbill.com

You can also go to the TKTS booth in Times Square but be prepared to stand on line for a few hours and HOPE they have the tickets you want -- you can only buy same-day tickets there.

There is a board near the TKTS booth with a list of which shows that they are selling tickets for.

Only problem is, you can be on the line for an hour and then they could sell out of those tickets.... that's why I stick to the sites I listed. I print out the offer, take it to the box office, pick my seats and the date I want and I'm all set without having to stand on a line for hours.

Or you could head to the other TKTS locations - South Street Seaport or Brooklyn. Never been to either of those myself, but worth checking out.

Absolutely! I've gotten GREAT orchestra seats for Young Frankenstein, Guys & Dolls, Legally Blonde, etc for 40-60% off through Broadway Box.

But it is good to check the board before you get on the line to make sure tickets for the show that you want are even being sold there as they don't sell tickets for all the shows that are available.
