Easy ! A penthouse apartment on Riverside Drive with views in every direction.
Must be a prewar building with good details.None of that 50's 60's or 70's stuff.
The West view would span from the GW Bridge down to the Statue of Liberty.Would that be possible? Trump's buildings might be in the way.If not we will do whatever we have to do to make it possible.
Maybe around the boat basin( 79th st) so as to be close to my yacht and be able to keep an eye on it from the West terrace.
And the MBR should face East to see the sunrise over Fifth Ave and Central Park.It would have to be considerably higher than any building between Riverside and CPW.
Either a top floor corner apartment in Gramercy (on Park Avenue South) or a top floor, corner apartment in the 5th Avenue/60th Street area. Oh, and the apartment would have to have floor-to-ceiling windows!
If you had unlimited resources and could live anywhere in NYC (let's keep this local), where would you live and why?
Reasonable answers only please. None of this "I'd buy up Central Park and live in a gold plated jacuzzi next to the Needle."
I would probably say I'd be content to live in a nicely appointed brownstone. I've always thought those were beautiful buildings, on equally beautiful streets.
A beautiful brownstone, or an apt over looking central park.
