How many projects are in queens and what are the names of them ? I am interested in applying . Also which ones are safe and which ones should be avoided ?

On the NYCHA website (http://gis.nyc.gov/nycha/im/NychaStart.do;jsessionid=36AE24D642E7F055DD7796ADE 1B5CD86? - broken link), you can search to see which projects are located in a specific borough.

It looks as though there's 23 developments in Queens.

every housing project is safe except for any in the rockaways, queensbridge, and south jamaica. ravenswood and astoria are borderline.

Yeah Latimer Gardens is the best one because its between whitestone and Mainstreet

plus it doesnt look like project buildings
