Hey guys!

New here , i really want to start my own food truck business. My problem comes in that i want to travel around the US and go city to city. So my question is what would i need in order to go into every city? Would i need individual Licenses to all these cities? Or i could just go around ? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!!

Thanks,
Matt.

Think of all the money you would spend on gas, tolls, etc. I can see driving around a corporate park or something but your idea would increase your expenses dramatically. There are others ways to see the country, I just don't think your idea makes sense.

This makes no sense. Why do you have to travel to run this business? You most certainly need licenses in any city you try to operating a food truck in.

If you have the money, your idea would work if you leased out the trucks. Made it into some sort of street vending franchise. You catch my drift, this would allow you to be in several cities at once without having to go around yourself.

This is complicated though because not only are the upfront costs a bit expensive, you have to research each city your going to be in for their guidelines, requirements, etc.

Yea you'll probably need licenses. I don't know about combining your dream of traveling to many US cities and to operate a food truck business...not sure if it'll work. Though the food truck business did cross my mind when I was out in New Jersey taking a class...there was nothing around which was walking distance to get a snack/drink/food. There were hundreds of people there stranded if they didn't have a car...coulda made a killing!

go for it, it sounds like an awesome idea. we need more in this world like the schnitzel truck, van leeuwen ice cream, arepa lady etc. do not worry about the money. If you can cook good food share your food to the world! do what you love and money will find you if you just chase money, money will not find you!
