Hey guys,

I will be in NYC this Thursday, and forecast has it maybe raining. I was wondering what you would recommend doing when it rains in NYC.

Thanks.

The Met? You can spend a week looking at the art.

Rainy weather is museum weather. If the Met isn't your cup of tea, there are many others.

Eating in great restuarants, enjoying the architectural wonders of Grand Central Station, the history of the Empire State building, tons of museums, plenty of great bars to have a nice drink, seeing the new and old Yankee stadium before its gone forever!

Ride a bus across town. (Our buses provide some of the most fascinating tours you can take, and I will never understand why they aren't promoted that way!) In particular, two of the longer routes in Manhattan: M101 from Washington Heights down to Cooper Square down the East Side--3rd Avenue going up and Lexington coming down...and the M4 from the Cloisters to Penn Station via Madison Avenue going up and 5th coming back. Trust me: you'll be amazed.

We just came back from the city. We actually went to Central Park on a rainy Saturday afternoon. Seemed appropriate, just wandering around in the park with umbrellas.
