Hey all!

Can you guys please help me to choose between these two addresses: Ocean Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11225 and West 149th street, NYC 10031 ( btw Amsterdam/Broadway). I need to know where its safer, better, and stuff like that... I will be staying there for two weeks for New Years.

Thanks!

Well if you stay in Manhattan (rather than Brooklyn) you will be closer most of NYC's attractions.

Personally I wouldn't live in any of those neighborhoods but perhaps just living there for 2 weeks isn't so bad. They are not the best neighborhoods in NYC.

Ok, I understand all that. But which one of those two, is better, safer (during night/day), quieter and etc.? Personally I think the Brooklyn one is better...its pretty much right on the prospect park...

I don't think the travel time is different to, say Times Square, with the Q express train at Parkside Ave - they are both 35 minutes. I'd stay in Brooklyn
