Those lists back then lasted longer and I think many of those high high numbers were selected through a lottery system to be hired. Our #1 guy is like 18,000+

RetiredSanman would know about that, this had to be in the mid to late
80's when they hired through a lottery. I do remember reading in the Chief
around 1989 into the early 1990's when they published the names of the people waiting to be called, it was like 20+ pages, 35,000+ names.

But yeah guys on here have posted before that they waited 8+ yrs to get on the job.

list from 1999 was the last lottery to take the test, but the first that gave you a list # based on your score.

there are guys in my garage in the 6000 range from the 2003 test so like the commercial says...hey you never know

Anyone shed any light on how BK 9 garage is? Where it is located? and how the parking situation is there? OJT there next week.

its by Kings County Hospital...New York Ave and Winthrop Ave....parking is on the street as they have no parking lot
