Hey All,

Just looking for some advice. My wife and I are moving to NYC and we're looking for a 1BR/1BA apartment in the city. We're looking at UES and Murray Hill. I was looking through some listings and am starting to think that $3k may be a little limiting on a decent 1BR apartment.. What should I be expecting to pay for a 1BR/1BA (w/small dog) in these areas for something reasonably close to public transport?

Thanks!

If you can afford $3k for a ONE bedroom...you can afford a real estate agent to help you too. Basically, you shouldn't have much of an issue with that budget.

Seriously?
With that budget you guys can get a new condo. Within the city and outer boroughs. Check out the Toren it's new but it's in Brooklyn with fantastic views.

TOREN - a new angle on modern living

I know you said apartments, but that's not going to be a problem finding one here with 3K. Good luck
