My Boyfriends MOM went to the hospital in Pittsburgh and came back with all these diagnosis and they were all abbreviated acronyms and no one new what any of it was. Her bother is a 70 yr old doctor who is now retired fro Johns Hopkins and also did not have a clue as to what the acronyms are...you don't see that in other countries YET... I just asked my mom who lives in Yorkville about the EDP she is 75 and born and raised in NYC all her life and said she did not know what it stood for.

Do they have a book so you can learn this abbriviations?

Scarily, there are abbreviation dictionaries...online and in print. I have a Random House one somewhere around here. You can probably find one on Amazon.

oh! the copter was hovering right above my apartments last night and I figured it must be a big thing bc they wouldn't do that for a petty criminal. And, I did not know what an EDP was either & have lived in ny my whole life!

Anyway, what's going on with these things? It seems like every week, or every other week there is a helicopter flying the skies, sometimes shining their spotlight down on the streets.

It's so annoying - Sunday at 1AM - really? Now I can't go back to sleep...

Heck,

You can't have a police state without continuous surveillance.
