Well, there are palm trees here in one respect. In the spring and summer, I've noticed plenty of large palm trees in pots in Manhattan, usually out in front of restaurants and clubs. One in front of a store near where I worked last fall was left out straight into winter and I watched it slowly freeze to death, fronds growing brown.
Absolutely not! Palm Trees in urban cities with a colder climate would be a disgrace. Palm Trees would look out of place in Philadelphia, Boston, Chicago, and New York City.
Palm Trees look normal in Miami, San Diego, and Los Angeles.
no way. next thing you know we'd have strip malls and people driving in their expensive convertible sports cars all year round, yuck.
I like palm trees when I go on vacation.
