Hair Services for Ethnic Hair including Hair Coloring - Brooklyn, New York

http://www.khamitkinks.com/

I also know Monica's Hair Salon at 824 Washington Avenue (718) 636-1100; they do wonderful hair as well. I just didn't like the wait time, but I would recommend visiting them during the week days.

An'jels Salon, is a black-owned salon conveniently located in midtown Manhattan. An'jels focuses on hair care and offers great styles and products for those of us transitioning out of our relaxer. I have gotten extensions from An'jels and was very happy with the results. They have hair available for purchase, I definitely recommend the hair they use! I am lucky to have found the salon, all of the stylists are great and friendly. They also use great, quality products.

Pat Sumpter-Davis is one of the only black hairstylist in Manhattan. She's between Port Authority and Penn Station. When I first moved here I asked around everywhere and everybody said that I will have to go to Harlem or Brooklyn. Just recently I found her. She is the BOMB. The environment is very nice too, very sophisticated, and in a nice doorman building. She has some high profile clients too, she does a lot of celebrity hair. You can check her site out at Blank.

What? I do my own hair and can think of many black hair stylists in Manhattan. Also, Harlem is IN Manhattan. This post is spammy.

Really? Do you know any below 42nd st? Because I know harlem is in Mahattan but I honestly don't want to go alllllll the way up town to get my hair done. Location is important to me. And there is a BIG difference between Harlem and Lower Manhattan.
Lol.. My message is not spammy, just keeping it real.

There's one in Harlem called Sheniqua's Cornrolls, Braids and African Weaves. I heard they sell bootleg DVDs, handbags and mixtapes in the back. The password is CATFISH! Tell them Ray-Ray set you...they'll hook you up!
