Default Fort Greene or Clinton Hill

Clinton Hill for general vibe. Fort Greene for its access to the park and subway access.

if you work in Manhattan, Fort Greene for the subway access. If not, Clinton Hill for the raw vibe. The neighborhoods are very similar in many ways, although Clinton Hill is cheaper because its on the G line (unless you are in the southern end, in which case you can grab the A or C at Washington)
