Going to a Mets game tomorrow night, how can I differentiate between the two? Thanks!

I believe the 7 express has a diamond shape around the number 7 whereas the local 7 has a circle shape around the number 7.

If you're going to Citifield, it won't matter which train you get on. They both stop at Willets Point. (And they'll both be horrendously crowded!)

You'll get a bit of a break on the ride home; there are "Baseball Special" trains that originate at Willets Point going towards Manhattan.

Or you could just get on the train with all the smelly Mets fans wearing David Wright jerseys

Despite the snide comment, following the crowd isn't that bad an idea.
