yeh, i think u can.

i came from europe (albania) at a very young age. i consider myself a new yorker, and i have a typical heavy bronx accent.

maybe not 'native' like others have stated.

I disagree. I don't think people moving to Manhattan from the metro area are "transplants". I think if you come from outside the metro area, you're a transplant.
