Anyone know about the maintenance fee issue back in 2012? This article says it was illegally hiked and HPD was sued by residents. Residents of Mitchell-Lama co-op sue HPD over maintenance increases
Was the suit resolved? If so, how?

Has anyone checked to see if their money order for the application fee has been cashed yet? I sent in my $200 money order and keep checking the serial number to make sure that they got it. Anyone else check theirs?

Also, will we get a letter confirming we are on the list and everything is received ok?

@ Robbie,
When I submitted my application in 2010 I never received a confirmation. I'm not sure if you will receive one.

@LexAveExp
Great Question! I would also like to know the answer to this.

What number is the one bedroom list up to? Anyone know? How fast does it move per month on average?

@Robbie
Part of your question has been answered in this thread. I encourage you to read the thread it will give you a better idea of the process and the waiting time.

The 1 bedroom list has just been completed and they have not begun to call people. (You may want to read post from last week regarding this). It's hard to come up with an average on how long it takes for someone to move. For example I've been on the 2 bedroom waiting list since 2010 with a number of 1100 or so and the list is at 798 as of last week. So it's very slow.

While it's impossible to perfectly guess when we'll get called, it's still fun to estimate!

That being said, from your numbers, the 2 bedroom list is moving at a pace of 200 per year. Do you think the 1 bedroom list will move faster or slower than the 2 bedroom list? You would think a lot of people that already live there would be slowing down the 2 bedroom list with internal transfers
